TERMS AND CONDITIONS: R60 000 ACQUIRING COMPETITION
1. Promoter:
This promotional competition (“Competition”) is conducted and promoted by Shop2Shop (Pty) Ltd (“Shop2Shop”, “us”, “we” or “our”), a private company in the Republic of South Africa. By taking part in this Competition and/or accepting the prize (defined below) you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Competition Period:
The Competition will run from 08:00 on 1 June 2025 to 23:59 on 6 July 2025 (“Competition Period”). No entries will be accepted outside of this period.
3. Eligibility:
This Competition is open to merchants who has a Shop2Shop issued and placed Tap2Pay device (“Qualifying Merchants”). Directors, employees, agents or consultants of Shop2Shop or any of its associated companies, including their immediate family members (spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, or sister) will not be eligible.
4. How to enter:
Qualifying Merchants will automatically receive an entry if, during the Competition Period, they:
- Use their Shop2Shop Tap2Pay device to process card transactions on at least 5 (five) days per week; and
- Process a minimum total of R5,000 per week in card transactions using the Shop2Shop Tap2Pay device (“Qualifying Entries”).
There is no limit to the number of weeks a merchant can qualify. Compliance is reviewed weekly.
5. Prize Details
A total prize pool of R60 000 (sixty thousand rand) will be awarded over the course of the Competition. Each week, 4 (four) winners will be selected from the Qualifying Entries, with five (5) weekly rounds in total during the Competition Period. The exact prize value per winner may vary but will cumulatively total R60,000 across all winners. Prizes will be credited directly to each winner’s Shop2Shop transactional account and may not be transferred, exchanged for cash or substituted.
6. Winner Selection:
Winners will be selected at random from Qualifying Entries for that weekly round. Shop2Shop’s decision in selection of the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into with any competition participant other than the winner.
7. Winner Notification:
Winners will be notified via WhatsApp and/or the Shop2Shop App inbox. Shop2Shop will attempt to make contact with the winner at least 3 (three) times, but if Shop2Shop is unable to contact the winner within 3 (three) business days, such winner will forfeit the prize and another winner may be drawn. Upon acceptance, winners may be publicly announced on Shop2Shop’s website and social media platforms.
8. General Conditions
8.1 Shop2Shop reserves the right at any time without notice to amend, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which Shop2Shop reasonably deem necessary.
8.2 In the event of a dispute, Shop2Shop’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
9. Limitation of Liability
9.1 Shop2Shop will not be liable for any technical failures that may affect entry or outcome of the Competition.
9.2 Neither Shop2Shop, its agents, service providers, suppliers, associated companies, nor any directors, officers, or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.
10. Indemnity:
All participants indemnify Shop2Shop against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way in the Competition.
11. Use of Personal Information:
By entering this Competition and as a condition to receive a prize, participants:
11.1 Consents to the processing of their personal information by Shop2Shop and its service providers, insofar that it is necessary to give effect to the Competition, for example to view the entries, select and announce the winners publicly and deliver/award prizes. Winners will be given the opportunity to consent to further processing of their personal information. Qualifying Merchants data will only be retained for a reasonable period after the competition closes to ensure compliance with the Consumer Protection Act by Shop2Shop.
11.2 Agree that Shop2Shop may publish or list your name as a winner on our social media platforms and/or our website. You do however have the right to decline the use of your image at any time.

13. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.
