TERMS AND CONDITIONS: WIN A SHOP2SHOP HAMPER VALUED AT R 2 000

  1. Promoter:

This promotional competition (“Competition”) is conducted and promoted by Shop2Shop (Pty) Ltd (“Shop2Shop”, “us”, “we” or “our”), a private company in the Republic of South Africa. By taking part in this Competition and/or accepting the prize (defined below) you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Competition Period:

The Competition will run from 08:00 on 5 December 2025 to 23:59 on 12 December 2025 (“Competition Period”). No entries received outside this period will be considered.

  1. Eligibility:

This Competition is open to natural persons who are 18 (eighteen) years or older and are South African residents (“Qualifying Participants”). Directors, employees, agents or consultants of Shop2Shop or any of its associated companies, including their immediate family members (spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, or sister) will not be eligible.

  1. How to enter:

To enter the Competition, Qualifying Participants must complete both of the following steps during the Competition Period:

  1. Like the official Shop2Shop Facebook page; and
  2. Reshare the official Competition post on Facebook

Entries that do not meet both requirements will not qualify. Only reshares of the official Competition post will be considered valid (“Qualifying Entries”).

  1. Prize Details

One (1) winner will receive a Shop2Shop Hamper valued at R2000 (two thousand rand), which includes:

  • 1 x Beach Umbrella
  • 1 x 30L Cooler
  • 1x Picnic Blanket
  • 1x Towel in Drawstring bag
  • 1x 1.2L Tumbler

The prize is non-transferable, may not be exchanged for cash, and may not be substituted except at the discretion of Shop2Shop. If any item in the hamper becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Shop2Shop’s control, Shop2Shop reserves the right to replace it with an item of equal value.

  1. Winner Selection

The winner will be selected at random from all Qualifying Entries using a verifiable, computer-generated selection process within 1 (one) calendar month after the Competition closes. The winner may be required to provide valid proof of identity before the prize is awarded.

  1. Winner Notification

7.1 The winner will be notified via direct message (DM) on Facebook from the official Shop2Shop account. The DM will request a valid contact number to arrange delivery of the prize. No additional personal information will be requested via DM. Shop2Shop will then contact the winner telephonically to finalise delivery, which will be at no cost to the winner.

7.2 If a winner does not respond within 3 (three) business days to the DM with a valid contact number or is unable to accept or take delivery of the prize for any reason, Shop2Shop reserves the right to select an alternative winner. Upon acceptance of the Prize, winners may be publicly announced on Shop2Shop’s website and social media platforms.

  1. General Conditions

8.1 Shop2Shop reserves the right at any time without notice to amend, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which Shop2Shop reasonably deems necessary.

8.2 In the event of a dispute, Shop2Shop’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Shop2Shop will not be liable for any technical failures that may affect entry or outcome of the Competition.

9.2 Neither Shop2Shop, its agents, service providers, suppliers, associated companies, nor any directors, officers, or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.

  1. Indemnity

All participants indemnify Shop2Shop against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way in the Competition.

  1. Use of Personal Information

By entering this Competition and as a condition to receive a prize, participants:

11.1 Consent to the processing of their personal information by Shop2Shop and its service providers, insofar that it is necessary to give effect to the Competition. Winners will be given the opportunity to consent to further processing of their personal information. Shop2Shop will retain Competition records, including details of the winners and prizes, for a period of 3 (three) years as required under Regulation 11 of the Consumer Protection Act.

11.2 Agree that Shop2Shop may publish or list their name as a winner on our social media platforms and/or our website. However, winners may decline use of their image at any time.

  1. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.
