  1. Promoter:

This promotional competition (“Competition”) is conducted and promoted by Shop2Shop (Pty) Ltd (“Shop2Shop”, “us”, “we” or “our”), a private company in the Republic of South Africa.  By taking part in this Competition and/or accepting the prize (defined below) you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

  1. Competition Period:

The Competition will run from 08:00 on 22 July 2025 to 23:59 on 30 July 2025 (“Competition Period”).  No entries will be accepted outside of this Competition Period.

  1. Eligibility:

This Competition is open to South African residents of 18 (eighteen) years and older, residing in South Africa (“Qualifying Participants”).  Directors, employees, agents or consultants of Shop2Shop or any of its associated companies, including their immediate family members (spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, or sister) will not be eligible.

  1. How to enter:

To enter the Competition, Qualifying Participants must complete all 3 (three) of the following steps during the Competition Period:

  1. Follow the official Shop2Shop Facebook page
  2. Comment on the official competition post
  3. Tag 2 (two) friends in your comment

(“Qualifying Entries”).

Only comments made directly on the official competition post and containing valid friend tags will be considered as valid entries.  Participants may enter multiple times by tagging different friends in separate comments, to increase their chances of winning.

  1. Prize Details

10 (ten) participants stand a chance to each win a Hisense U70 Pro smartphone. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. The make, model, colour, and specifications of the smartphone are subject to availability and will be finalised by Shop2Shop. If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond Shop2Shop’s control, Shop2Shop reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into regarding prize selection or substitution.

  1. Winner Selection & Notification:

10 (ten) winners will be selected through a random draw and notified within one month from the closing date of the Competition Period.

  1. Winner Notification:

Winners will be notified via direct message (DM) on Facebook from the official Shop2Shop account. The DM will request a valid contact number to arrange delivery of the prize. No additional personal information will be requested via DM. Shop2Shop will then contact the winner telephonically to finalise delivery, which will be at no cost to the winner.  If a winner does not respond within 3 (three) business days to the DM with a valid contact number, Shop2Shop reserves the right to select an alternative winner.  Upon acceptance of the Prize, winners may be publicly announced on Shop2Shop’s website and social media platforms.

  1. General Conditions

8.1       Shop2Shop reserves the right at any time without notice to amend, modify, or change these Terms and Conditions, and to postpone, suspend or cancel this Competition and any prizes (which have not yet been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, without notice at any time, for any reason which Shop2Shop reasonably deem necessary.

8.2       In the event of a dispute, Shop2Shop’s decision will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  1. Limitation of Liability

9.1       Shop2Shop will not be liable for any technical failures that may affect entry or outcome of the Competition.

9.2       Neither Shop2Shop, its agents, service providers, suppliers, associated companies, nor any directors, officers, or employees of such, shall be liable for any loss or damage, whether direct, indirect, consequential, or otherwise arising from any cause whatsoever, which may be suffered by the participant.

  1. Indemnity:

All participants indemnify Shop2Shop against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way in the Competition.

  1. Use of Personal Information:

By entering this Competition and as a condition to receive a prize, participants:

11.1  Consents to the processing of their personal information by Shop2Shop and its service providers, insofar that it is necessary to give effect to the Competition. Winners will be given the opportunity to consent to further processing of their personal information. Qualifying Participants data will only be retained for a reasonable period after the competition closes to ensure compliance with the Consumer Protection Act by Shop2Shop.

11.2      Agree that Shop2Shop may publish or list your name as a winner on our social media platforms and/or our website. You do however have the right to decline the use of your image at any time.

  1. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of South Africa.
